How content is created

Visible Compute uses AI-assisted research combined with human editorial oversight. Our process:

1. Research – We gather information from primary sources: manufacturer specifications, official product pages, SDK documentation, and hands-on testing where possible.
2. Drafting – AI tools assist with structuring and drafting content based on verified sources.
3. Editorial review – A human editor reviews every article for accuracy, clarity, and completeness before publication.
4. Ongoing updates – Articles are revisited when new products launch, firmware updates ship, or pricing changes.

Fact-checking methodology

We prioritize primary sources: official manufacturer specifications, product documentation, SDK changelogs, and direct hands-on testing. This category has a history of overpromising — we verify claims independently.

Specific verification practices:

• Battery life claims are compared against our own testing methodology and community-reported results, not just manufacturer claims.
• Display specifications (FOV, resolution, brightness) are verified against official datasheets and independent reviews.
• Subscription costs and ongoing fees are confirmed from official pricing pages with dates noted.
• Translation accuracy and AI feature claims are tested against real-world scenarios, not marketing demos.
• Privacy policies are read in full — we report what data is actually collected, not what the marketing page implies.
• When primary sources are unavailable (e.g., unreleased products), we clearly mark claims as unconfirmed.

Articles that have been recently verified display a "✓ Verified" date in the article header.

Verified vs. unconfirmed information

• Verified claims – Backed by primary sources or hands-on testing with a verification date.
• Estimated/unconfirmed – Based on credible reporting, leaks, or pre-release information. Clearly labeled with words like "estimated," "rumored," or "unconfirmed."

Corrections policy

If you find an error in our content:

1. Email hello@visiblecompute.com with the article URL and the correction needed.
2. We review and verify the correction against primary sources.
3. Confirmed corrections are published within 48 hours.
4. The article is updated and significant corrections are noted at the top.

Independence
