XREAL One Pro vs VITURE Beast: Display, Work and Privacy
Choose the XREAL One Pro if you want a camera-free base configuration with native screen stabilization. Shortlist the VITURE Beast if its taller 1200p display and SpaceWalker desktop layouts matter more—but remember that it has an integrated RGB camera. Neither is an autonomous computer or a guaranteed replacement for a full-day desk monitor.
This is a research-based comparison of current manufacturer documentation checked on October 1, 2026. We have not worn or measured these products. Optical fit, readable text size and firmware behavior need a trial with your own equipment; specifications cannot settle them.
For the broader category, start with our smart glasses with displays guide. This page owns the specific One Pro/Beast decision, not every XREAL/VITURE generation.
Buying context checked October 20: XREAL now sells the separate 1 Pro+ refresh for $599 US. It claims 1,200-nit peak brightness and 60fps 2D-to-3D conversion; 6DoF still needs Eye. The original One Pro figures below have not been silently replaced with the refresh’s specs. Compare exact SKUs before ordering; no new comfort or performance winner is inferred.

Prices exclude regional taxes, lenses and adapters and can change. VITURE’s “4K-like” language does not mean native 3840 × 2160 per eye. Resolution and refresh-rate maxima are not a promise that every adapter supports both simultaneously.
The real display difference is not 57 versus 58 degrees
A one-degree stated FOV difference is too small to justify a winner by itself. FOV determines the angular window, while panel resolution, optical alignment, eye position and text scaling determine how usable that window is. Marketing screen diagonals also depend on an assumed viewing distance; they are not physical monitor dimensions.
Beast has more vertical pixels on paper. That may help a desktop layout, but only if the actual input mode and firmware expose 1200p and your prescription/fit preserve readable edges. XREAL’s 1080p panel remains a meaningful constraint for dense spreadsheets or small IDE text. Enlarging a virtual image does not create additional pixels.
Both offer dimming rather than being permanently opaque VR headsets. Darker settings improve contrast but reduce your view of the room. Choose a seated environment and pause if the display causes discomfort. We do not infer outdoor readability, safety while walking or all-day comfort from the brightness figures.
Native tracking versus multiple monitors
Both glasses can stabilize a screen against head rotation without installing a desktop spatial app for that basic behavior. That is hardware 3DoF: pitch, yaw and roll. It is not the same as tracking your position while leaning or walking through a room.
A wide desktop, three independent operating-system displays and three application windows are also different things. XREAL supports an ultrawide presentation; that does not turn one video connection into three independent displays. VITURE documents single, dual and triple layouts in SpaceWalker Desktop, whose software, OS and host requirements still apply.
The work and laptop guide provides a return-window test for your actual workflow. Use it before replacing a physical monitor. Do not buy either pair on the assumption that every locked-down company laptop can install the necessary companion software.
Camera and microphone privacy
The base One Pro is the cleaner starting point where avoiding a capture camera is a requirement. Adding XREAL Eye changes that configuration, so document the full setup rather than the model name alone. One Pro’s open-ear audio is not private headphones; consider sound leakage separately.
Beast includes an RGB camera and a microphone. Its camera-related features and any 6DoF support depend on software; the official Academy still describes some capture/sensing capabilities as post-launch updates. We do not count an announced feature as verified shipping behavior. Equally, disabling a camera does not make the hardware camera-free.
Neither choice creates automatic workplace approval. Check wireless accessories, microphones, connected software, screen capture and cloud processing. See the camera-free buying guide for a wider shortlist and our privacy guide for consent questions.
Prescription and fit can outweigh the specification advantage
Measure your IPD and select the correct frame size before ordering. Both use dedicated prescription inserts rather than being a normal pair of prescription frames. VITURE explicitly says Beast has no myopia adjustment dials; do not transfer that feature from its other models.
An insert frame is not a finished corrective lens. Get a quote for your prescription, including astigmatism, and confirm the correct model/size, lead time and return terms. A no-prescription trial may be misleading if you need correction for the virtual focal distance.
Within the return period, compare center and corner text with normal font sizes, not just a large video. Check whether you can see all menu edges, look down at the keyboard, and recenter the display without repeatedly losing focus. Our prescription smart-glasses guide covers the broader lens decision.
Connection, power and total setup cost
USB-C is a connector, not proof of video output. Your source must provide a supported DisplayPort-over-USB-C path. HDMI needs an appropriate powered conversion path; a passive connector adapter is not enough. Check console and phone compatibility by exact model.
The glasses depend on the connected source for operation. There is no useful standalone “glasses battery lasts four hours” comparison here. Budget for host battery use and, if needed, simultaneous charging. VITURE’s older charging-adapter documentation lists mode restrictions: verify the exact adapter generation instead of assuming it preserves 1200p, ultrawide and 120Hz.
| Setup item | Include in the quote |
|---|---|
| Glasses | Exact size, regional warranty and checkout price |
| Vision correction | Finished insert lenses, not merely the frame |
| Connection | Verified video cable, powered HDMI solution or charging adapter |
| Spatial software | OS support, install rights and firmware requirements |
| Optional compute/camera | Only if your use case actually needs it |
At the checked US prices, Beast starts $50 below One Pro. A lens or adapter requirement can reverse that difference. Neither vendor’s accessory ecosystem should be treated as interchangeable with the other.
Which should you shortlist?
One Pro: a straightforward external-screen setup, native rotation-stabilized view, and no capture camera in the base configuration. Its main compromises are 1080p text density, fit dependence and the need to validate any advanced desktop arrangement separately. Read the research-based One Pro review for the single-product assessment.
Beast: more vertical panel resolution, native screen modes and a documented SpaceWalker desktop path. Its integrated camera is a material difference; firmware, adapters and platform support need more care than the headline specification table suggests.
Neither: if you require effortless shared viewing, reliable color-critical work, unrestricted multiple-monitor support or eight hours of proven comfort. A portable monitor may solve the problem with less uncertainty. These are conditional shortlists, not a measured optical winner.
Questions before ordering
Is Beast a camera-free alternative to One Pro?
No. Beast has an integrated RGB camera. One Pro without the optional Eye accessory has no capture camera in the base glasses.
Does hardware 3DoF mean no software is ever needed?
No. It covers basic screen stabilization. Independent virtual desktop layouts, capture features and advanced integrations may require compatible software or accessories.
Can either work without a laptop or phone?
They need a video/power source. An optional compute accessory can replace the laptop or phone for some tasks, but the glasses alone are not a standalone general-purpose computer.
